The Hampton Inn & Suites Vestal is delighted to announce Tina Capwell as our team leader of the quarter. Tina has been working as our weekend breakfast attendant since October 2010. She works diligently at keeping the kitchen and breakfast area clean, organized, and well stocked. She goes above and beyond to make sure our guests are happy. She is willing to come in and help in other departments if someone is sick or on vacation. Tina was invited to our Halloween party but was not able to attend, she delivered an amazing tray of baked goods all decorated for our party. She keeps track of all our employees birthday's and gives them a special homemade cupcake or cookie with a special note. She is truly an asset to our hotel. Congratulations Tina!

The Holiday Inn Concord is pleased to announce Jean Griffin as its Employee of the Month. Jean worked worked at the hotel for 10 years, then left to work in housekeeping at a couple of other area hotels for about 6 months, only to return to the Holiday Inn in October 1999. For the past 12 years Jean has worked the overnight at the Holiday Inn and loves it. She says that she enjoys working the overnight because it is quieter.

When not at the hotel, Jean enjoys listing to her favorite music artist, Jon Bon Jovi and spending time with her cat Daiquiri. She also enjoys shopping and is currently enrolled in a class on writing children’s books. Jean describes herself as a sensitive Pisces.

Jean, thank you for all of your hard work and the years of dedication! We hope to have you as part of our team for many more years to come.

The Hampton Inn would like to announce that the employee of the month is Margarita Ochoa. Margarita has worked in our laundry dept for 4 years. Margarita stays late, arrives early when needed and is always willing to help in other departments. Congratulations Margarita!!

SpringHill Suites by Marriott is proud to announce Mary Mierka as our Associate of the Quarter. Mary has been our night auditor for over 10 years. She is a sweet homespun person that greets every guest that arrives in the wee hours of the morning as if they were long lost family members who finally arrived at their destination. Her cheery manner and willingness to help at any lengths make her a sparkling jewel in our SpringHill treasure chest.

In addition to her impeccable guest service Mary is the consummate team player; willing to come in at the last moment if needed and putting her personal life aside to make sure the hotel is running smoothly. Mary is truly a one in a million associate.

The Holiday Inn Downtown Williamsport and the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Williamsport are pleased to announce that Megan Lazorka has been chosen our Team Leader of the Month. Megan is a very creative and artistic person. She has a jewelry line, Megan Joan. She also crochets the most beautiful hats and scarf's. She is mom to Caleb, 12 years old. Who has taken on her creativity, he helps her with her Megan Joan stuff and just got a new guitar. She has worked as a bartender and server at the James for 6 years and she was just promoted to Head Bartender. Meagan is an all round awesome person we are proud to have as part of our team. Jessica Collins is the Holiday Inn Express East employee of the month. Jessica joined our team in October 2009 as a guest service representative. In addition to caring for our guests with her warm and welcoming personality, Jessica has taken on the responsibility of accounts receivable coordinator. In her very short time in that role Jessica has reduced our receivables by over $50,000.

Jessica is a valued member of our team. She is eager to help in any way possible and is the first one to sign up for a party or social event. When Jessica is not working she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Jazlyn and Emily, and her husband Jake.
